Radical denim

Believe it or not, this actually started as a denim jacket, full sleeves and everything. I rummaged through my mothers closet and found it. My mother still doesn't know I have it, I mean, she hasn't looked for it, yet. But maybe when she finds it and sees what I did with it, she'll forgive me for creative effort. I'll confess that this is the second denim jacket of hers I stole and cut up, the first one looked more dero then Derelique, and yes that was a Zoolander reference. Enjoy it. I know I would.
Anyway, I cut the back out, cut the sleeves off and stitched some letters up-on-it. It was supposed to say 'Dope' but the craft store was out of the letter E. Damn Vowels. BitcheZ.

Fab-ric to Fab dress

The fabric was really a last resort because they didnt have much decent white fabric at the thrift store. But, if I may say so myself, it turned out pretty Fabulous. Pronounced Fab-ooo-luss in this case.
I made a flowy dress for summer, its flowy, and its white, and it'll cool my ass down in this ridiculous heat.

Plaid to Rad

I'd like to take a moment; no, not to just sit right there and tell you how I became the Prince of a town called Belair, I haven't even been to Belair. No, I would in fact like to take a moment to appreciate how atrocious  that dress is. or was.

I bought it in my 'Punk' phase, 100 years ago, and dug it up the other day. I am a sucker for Plaid so I cut that piece of work up and made it into a bustier; to wear with more plaid.

Material to skirt

I am fairly sure this fabric is the leftover from a child's costume on Halloween, which mum would've custom sewn.
All jokes aside I bought this fabric, and sewed it into a pleated skirt. Problem is I don't know what to wear with it because I feel like a 10 year old boy's walking bedsheets.

Material girl to a skirt

I do admit, when I get material on my hands I get a little bit cray cray, because I'm so lazy and hate making pieces from scratch; but its always worth it in the end.
Bought this ghastly fabric, which is probably for making sick green curtains, at Vinnies for two whole dollars. then I made it a skirt, and that's it.

Fat to Phat

So the dress was a Fab colour and I couldn't say no to that, so I bought it, despite the fact it made me look 5 kilos heavier. I cut it across the middle and managed to tailor it in so it actually looks like I have a waist, then I added the white piping.

The back is pretty phat too, if I must say.
